This Privacy Policy explains how GoProp collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data when the platform is accessed or used.

1. Scope
This Policy applies to the use of GoProp, including the website, administration panel, user portal, public landing pages, institutional blog, forms, communications and related services.
It may not apply to third-party websites, services or integrations that have their own privacy policies.
2. Roles in data processing
When a Client uses GoProp to manage its Organization's data, the Client normally determines what data is uploaded, what it is used for, who accesses it and how long it is retained. In those cases, the Client acts as data controller or an equivalent figure, and GoProp acts as a service provider or processor, as applicable.
When GoProp processes data to manage its own website, billing, support, security, marketing, business accounts or legal compliance, GoProp may act as data controller with respect to that data.

- compliance with legal obligations;
- legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement and support;

6. Data uploaded by the Client
The Client is responsible for ensuring it has sufficient authorization to upload, process and share personal data of co-owners, residents, employees, providers or other third parties within GoProp.
The Client is also responsible for informing end users about the use of GoProp when required by applicable law.

9. Providers and subprocessors
GoProp may use external providers to operate the platform. These providers may process personal data on a limited basis and under reasonable contractual obligations of confidentiality, security and data protection.
When required by applicable law or contract, GoProp will maintain reasonable information about relevant subprocessors and notify material changes as applicable.
10. International transfers
GoProp may operate from, host data in, or use providers located in different countries. As a result, data may be transferred and processed outside the country of residence of the User or the Organization.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or improper destruction.
However, no system is completely secure. The Client and Users must also protect their credentials, assign permissions correctly and avoid sharing sensitive information with unauthorized persons.
12. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, protect platform security and comply with the Client's reasonable instructions.
Export, post-cancellation retention and deletion of data are governed by the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
13. User rights
Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to:
- access their personal data;
- request correction or updating;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability;
- withdraw consent when processing is based on consent;
- file a complaint with a competent authority.
When GoProp acts as processor on behalf of the Client, some requests must be handled by the Client as the primary data controller. In those cases, we may forward the request to the Client or reasonably assist them.
14. Minors
GoProp is not directed at minors. The Client must not upload data of minors unless it has sufficient legal basis and such use is necessary for the administration of the Organization.
15. Communications
We may send operational communications related to the service, security, important changes, billing, support or account administration.
Commercial or promotional communications, where they exist, may be opted out of in accordance with available options or applicable law.
